How do you get moviegoers to engage with and learn about the Telus Learning Centre? Offer them the chance to win a free smartphone, of course!
Telus partnered with Cineplex to create a branded TimePlay to engage with audience members. In the game, we put their emoji skills to the test. Top scorers won a Samsung Galaxy and Scene Points, and those who didn’t do so well were invited to come into a Telus Learning Centre to brush up on emojis and to get any other tech questions answered.
Since the launch of the Telus-branded TimePlay, ratings and downloads for the TimePlay app have soared.
